ThePoet's Voice

Welcome my friends to this edition of ThePoet's Voice. This site was designed, not only to allow the visually impaired to participate in ThePoet's Perspective experience, but also to share an important part of who I am, with all those who drop in to ThePoet's little place in cyberspace.

Every couple of weeks I hope to bring you four new audio files for your listening pleasure. One will be a recitation of one of my poems, and another will be me singing one of my favourite songs.

Please understand there will be nothing fancy about the recordings. In the case of the songs I sing, it's just me and one of my guitars, getting lost for awhile somewhere in Andromeda.

The other two files will be descriptions. I'll try to let you know what inspired the poem or song if I wrote it, and if the song is someone else's I'll tell you why it's important to me. Be warned however my friends, because some of the poetry descriptions have turned out to be longer than the poems themselves. LOL

Please be patient with me while this site evolves.
