I tried with this song, to express my frustration at not being understood. I couldn't seem to say what I needed to say, in a way my ex could grasp.
It wasn't for lack of trying. Hell I wrote her poems and songs and left them where she could find them, but she never responded to any of them. She too had her problems with communication.
Sometimes we feel trouble on the horizon, and this song also spoke to that. I had a feeling there were problems developing, which scared me to death. The last thing in the world I wanted was to lose my love. I wrote this in 84, and we broke up about 6 years later, although we stopped trying a long time before that.
Live life! Love freely and laugh... a lot!
Ciao for now
